A good example of HCM growth transaction is Bank Komunalny. HCM originated this deal, acquired a significant minority stake in the bank via Poland Growth Funds managed by Heyka Advisory Holdings and placed several rounds of private equity financing among friendly investors representing together an over 25% equity stake.
We had 2 members of the Supervisory Board and got deeply involved in the value building process. Prior to a planned IPO, HCM executed an additional placement of 13% of equity. Following the IPO of Bank Komunalny on the main floor of the WSE, we sold the bank to “Nordea” - Merita Nordbanken.
